A typical dictionary description explains a phobia as an ‘irrational'  fear' and although this is a very accurate description, for many people who suffer from any kind of phobia, it can seem very rational indeed.

It may be funny for your friends or work colleagues to put you in certain positions where your phobia simply cannot be avoided, but if only they knew how much anxiety it creates for you?

A phobia can range from feeling physically sick when presented with a lose shirt button, to gut wrenching anxiety at even the mere thought of a spider in your bathroom.

The fact is, one can develop a phobia of absolutely anything, but they all have one thing in common; they are extremely unpleasant to say the least and can become a real burden on you living your life as you want to.

Many people tend to suffer in silence with problems that they see as ‘silly’ or 'not worthy of seeking help', only to find that when they do seek help, it gives them a sense of relief that has huge benefits for them that are invaluable in their lives.

Using the powerful technique of Hypnoanalysis we aim to get to the root cause of the Phobia (the initial sensitising event), then desensitise the fear and remove the effects of it for good.
