Wouldn't it
be great to be able to see situations more objectively, without
the clouding of our own emotions or moods affecting how we handle
things.
Counselling
isn't about giving advice or talking for talking's sake; it is about having the opportunity to speak
freely and openly, taking a step back
from ourselves and seeing things objectively with the help of a
professional active listener.
Sometimes known as ‘The Talking Cure’ for some
Counselling seems far
too simple to be able to help us. After all, how can our problem be
helped by talking about it?
Have
